Single Implant Crowns – Colleyville, TX

Make That Gap Disappear

When a tooth needs to be extracted or is already missing, replacing this tooth with a single dental implant and crown is the BEST option. The implant crown will look and function like your natural teeth. Since the dental implant is made of titanium and the crown is a combination of zirconia and porcelain, it will not decay like your natural teeth. Unlike a partial denture that is removable, the crown is attached directly to the dental implant, so you do not have to worry about it falling out when you are speaking or eating. The implant crown also helps to preserve your other natural teeth by preventing your neighboring teeth from drifting into the missing space, which can lead to additional tooth loss and impaired chewing efficiency.

Step 1: Determine the Position of the Dental Implant on the Digital Treatment Planning Software

After reviewing your 3D CAT scan to evaluate the amount of bone at the future dental implant site, the exact position of the dental implant and crown with be planned on the digital treatment planning software. This will allow for a more predictable result when compared to traditional treatment planning methods.

Step 2: Place the Dental Implant and Deliver Temporary Tooth

The dental implant will be placed according to the digital treatment plan and the neighboring teeth to ensure that the position is correct. After the surgery is completed, a temporary tooth will either be attached directly to the dental implant or a flipper will be delivered to replace the missing tooth. In either case, you will leave our office with a temporary tooth!!

Step 3: Deliver Your New Single Implant Crown

After 3 to 4 months of healing, the permanent porcelain-zirconia implant crown will be secured directly to the dental implant and will function and look like a natural tooth.
